The thread
The Equinox Retreat 2025 is an invitation to kick off your shoes, let your hair down and come out to play. A week immersed in the views, scents and ancient energies of Sardinia to restore, inspire and remember your origins from a time long gone but stored in the memory of the rocks and the sea, traced in the stars and left behind by the ancient civilisations that lived on the island tens of thousands of years ago.
The retreat is a journey to find the threads of your unique soul path across the layers of time. Surrounded by the waters of the Mediterranean sea we explore the symbols and sacred geometry of structures in ancient sites, going back in time to the very beginning, to the origins. The retreat is an inner and outer journey where we spend time outdoors to communicate with the wind, bless the waters, connect to the spirit of the land and share ancient initiations in the sacred sites, while also going within through the shamanic journey, dream practices, journalling and quiet time. You can expect the retreat to be light and fun and at the same time profound in essence.
The flow
The retreat unfolds against a backdrop of Mediterranean sea, ancient rocks, olive trees and sacred sites. On September 25th we meet in the capital city of Cagliari where your flight arrives. Together we travel to our destination in a nature reserve by the sea which will be our home and sanctuary for the rest of the week. From there, we visit sacred sites in the area and engage in ceremony, healing work and ancient teachings. In the morning we sit in circle to meditate, share our dreams and learn more about the mysteries of the places and energies we encounter along the way.
Then we explore unique sacred sites in the surrounding area. Some days we stay close to home and go for walks to explore nature and archeology on our doorstep.
In the evenings we indulge in stargazing, shamanic journeys and dream practices. The retreat has a gentle pace, with time for rest, journalling and solo time in nature, socialising and sharing meals.
Our journey ends back in Cagliari on the evening of the 25th
The Sanctuary
During the retreat we stay in a house on a small peninsula surrounded by the sea, inside the Capo San Marco Maritime Protected Area, with stunning views and dolphins swimming past. The place is very peaceful, private, with easy access to the beach, hiking trails, and with dark skies at night for stargazing.
The nature reserve also hosts ancient ruins from different cultures like Romans, Phoenicians and all the way back to the Nuragic era, the neolithic civilization unique to the island.
The house is rustic but comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen, fireplace, large living room and plenty of sitting space outdoors for our circle time and for quiet, solo time. Accommodation is mostly shared and so are the bathrooms, as it's typical in Sardinia. We are immersed in nature, in close contact with the elements, the stars and the powerful energies of the land.
We can cook our meals and when we are out and about we can eat at local traditional restaurants or bring a picnic, whatever works for you.

The order of the activities may vary according to weather conditions /other factors out of my control.
We will return to the city on September 25th in the evening, the exact time will be determined by the flow of our visit to the last sacred site, therefore it's recommended you book your return flight from the 26th onwards. I can provide a list of recommended places to stay in Cagliari and I'd be happy to reserve a table at a local restaurant if we wanted to dine together on the 25th.
Getting there
The nearest airport is Cagliari-Elmas
There are many flights daily to Cagliari from Rome and Milan, and several flights a week from Europe and the UK. If you're travelling from North America and other non-European territory, you will need to book a flight to Rome or Milan and a domestic flight to Cagliari .
The flight Rome- Cagliari lasts 50 minutes.
I will meet you and the rest of the group in Cagliari, before continuing our journey onward to our retreat sanctuary in the Maritime Protected area which is about 90 minutes drive from the city, along a scenic route. I'm at hand to help you organise your travels and offer tips, support and additional activities if you wish to extend your stay.
